    Founded by award-winning writer, producer and director, DARA PADWO-AUDICK, Creative Strategies Media delivers memorable factual television as well as digital and multimedia programs that get ratings and results. Prior to forming Creative Strategies Media, Dara served as an executive producer for Discovery Studios, producing programs for Discovery HD Theater, Science Channel, and Animal Planet. She also served as a producer and director for National Geographic Television and the National Geographic Channel. Her programs and series have appeared on Animal Planet, CBS, Discovery Channel, ESPN, FOX, Lifetime, Military Channel, National Geographic, Outdoor Life, PBS, and all over the Internet. Her independent documentary, Bhutan: A Kingdom of Happiness, was featured in several international film festivals. Her web series, She’s Got Grit, streams on Sofy.TV. Dara is a long-time adjunct professor at American University and a member of the Producers Guild of America.

    FOUNDER & PRESIDENTBRIGID MAHER is a filmmaker and tenured, associate professor of Film and Media Arts Division in the School of Communication at American University. Her previous documentary, Veiled Voices, focuses on the phenomenon of Muslim women religious leaders in Islam. Veiled Voices is distributed by Typecast Releasing in the United States and has screened on over 150 public television stations and three national networks. Al Jazeera Network recently acquired the film for broadcast in the Middle East and North Africa. The film has additional international distribution through TVF International and has screened in numerous international festivals in the United States and abroad. Several of her films have international distribution, including her latest documentary, TheMama Sherpas released in 2015 alongside producer Ricky Lake and Abby Epstein (The Business of Being Born) Maher won a Fulbright Senior Award to teach broadcast media in Lebanon in the spring of 2005.
